Simplicity
I love photo challenges, but by the time I take a picture that I think will fit the challenge, the group has moved on. This one was inspired by Cee’s Compose Yourself Photo Challenge, Week Four, simplicity. Cee even posts in advance what the topic will be, but I just contemplate for a long time.
But I do think about the topic and tips as I take pictures all week.
I did use the Auto Smart Tone feature of Photoshop Elements on this picture which increased the saturation a little. I lost a little detail in the bird’s face, but I really loved how it looks so dark blue against the myriad of colors in the water.
And here is the bird in its more natural look. Still pretty phenomenal. Who doesn’t look red eyes?
Such beautiful simplicity photos for this week. Thanks so much for playing along.
Thank you. I am mostly concerned with documenting the wildlife here even if photos don’t turn out, but you are making me think about having the photos stand as interesting images on their own, regardless of subject matter too, and I am enjoying the extra level of meaning!
