Species List – Birds
All of these pictures were taken by me, right here on the farm. You can click on the thumbnails to see a larger version. Some of them are not very good resolution, but some of them are pretty good!
The bird list is in the same order as given on Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s eBird.

Isn’t it fabulous what you can find when you start really looking? Some lovely pics there. You must be permanently attached to the camera! I never seem to have mine to hand.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I love your blog!
Yes, I do keep my camera with me all of the time. If I don’t have it, I am sure to see something like peregrine falcons landing on the fence or rattlesnakes fighting it out or something… And even with all of the pictures I take, a lot of them aren’t focused right, so I keep plugging away to get something. 🙂
I have seen a lot of these around my house, but couldn’t identify a single one as they are all totally new species! I finally know a few of them now. Great pictures and documentation!
I moved here 6 1/2 years ago, from only about 50 miles away, and I can’t believe how long it has taken me to get to know these birds. I am just now getting good at the more nondescript ones.
I hope you enjoy becoming familiar with all the new species!
Amazingly helpful reference!
Thanks! If you need a very nice reference on sparrows, this one was put together by a local volunteer group and it is awesome!

Thank you so much – I will follow it up!
